Dr. Kuldip Thusu brings more than 25 years of experience strengthening healthcare and research capacity in California’s Central Valley. For nearly two decades, he served as CEO of Alta Family Health Clinic, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Dinuba, where he helped expand access to primary care in a rural community facing persistent physician shortages.

He now serves as President and CEO of Universal BioPharma Research Institute and Pacific Health Solutions, continuing his work across clinical research, healthcare delivery, and community health.

Dr. Thusu’s experience in rural health, FQHC leadership, physician recruitment, and research will bring valuable perspective to WEI’s Board and its work to advance more equitable approaches to health.
